I am so impressed with my new butterfly pillow. I have 3 prolapsed discs in my neck following a 30 year+ nursing career. I have tried so many pillows that it’s almost a family joke when a new one arrives at the door. Bought this for my 85 yr old husband. He has torn rotor cuffs in both his shoulders and the surgeon said they're too far gone for repair and he's too old for surgery. I have chronic RA and severe osteoarthritis in my spine which means I have difficulty finding comfortable sleeping positions as my cervical spine is compromised Your pillow has given me considerable relief if I sleep on my back. It took a few nights to get used to as normally I slept with my arm under me. Getting frozen shoulder and bursitis I had to consider a whole new way to sleep sideways. I invested in the Sleepsake butterfly pillow. Now I sleep thru most of the night and I'm waking up feeling way better. No crushed shoulders and hoping that my shoulders can recover after awhile. I bought this sleepsake butterfly pillow and the quality is very good and memory foam not to hard. There are two loft , one for the higher side and the other for the lower side. Unfortunately I am a very short person who has a very short neck. And don't get the full support, I did notice that I had no shoulder pain next morning. As your aware this butterfly pillow comes with 100 nights free trial and this is Awesome and it does state that any reason your not satisfied you can send it back, no questions asked. Like I said my neck was so short and after 3 days ,I emailed sleepsake explaining this. Within 15 minutes I had my full refund back into my account. I've had consistently higher sleep scores and longer deep sleep since I started using my pillow. I find it very comfortable settling down now. I have one issue with the material of the pillow case which was resolved by putting a regular cotton one over the top. My skin was starting to break out with the original pillowcase.

I really love my new pillow, I do wish it was possible to buy pillow cases for the pillow that fit snuggly. I find with ordinary pillow cases some of the contours/shapes of the pillow aren’t as good as they could be with an exact fitting pillow case. I tried my pillow without any additional pillow case (just the one it came in) however embarrassing I’ve discovered how much I must ‘dribble’ through the night and i’m loathe to risk soiling the actual pillow. Please let me know if at some time you design and sell the filled pillow cases individually. 🥰🥰🥰
I have slept on the Butterfly Pillow for 42 nights now. Previous 37 years I had used good quality curved pillows. After the first night my wife remarked happily no snoring or labored breathing & thankfully that has been the case over the 42 nights. It’s taken me about three weeks to adjust to this pillow as I’m a back sleeper, but my sleep has improved from 3-4 hrs sleep a night to now getting 6-7 hours most nights. I’m glad I persevered as it’s also helping my neck & shoulder pain. The company being Australian was also a reason I decided to give it a go & they have been great to deal with.
I was very sceptical. When the pillows arrived I marvelled at what they looked like. I've never seen anything like this before! Slept on it that first night and was absolutely amazed. Only woke briefly once in the night, then also slept in! No numb arm or tingling in my hand. Have now slept on the pillow for over 2 weeks and still amazed with it. I'm getting more sleep and that sleep is restful! One small catch is that its not all that comfy for reading in bed, but that's probably a good thing. So thank you Sleepsake. I've had a butterfly pillow before and didn't get along with it however, this one feels completely different. It is a lot softer but still supportive. It took a couple of weeks before it felt comfortable, but I think that is as your neck is aligning itself (don't know as I'm not a professional). Would recommend that you try this even if you have tried others in the past.
Sorry to disappoint but I can’t use it not good for me
I bought the pillows because I have a shoulder injury and my partner said he wanted to trial one as well due to headaches each morning. Happy to report that he hasn’t woken up with a headache since and he has had the ‘best sleeps’ since sleeping on a butterfly pillow. I’m still getting used to mine but find it very comfortable for sleeping on.
The first few nights were getting accustomed to the recommended way to use. I have noticed a reduction in tossing and turning and some nights I wake feeling as if I haven’t moved all night. The quality of my sleep has improved but most of all I love the comfort of the pillow and won’t be going back to my old one.
Both my wife and I are very happy with the pillows. We are both side-sleepers, and have struggled to find comfortable pillows that support the neck and head. I've recently had neck surgery, and this pillow has successfully kept my neck straight, and avoided me from tucking my chin to my chest when I sleep. I actually look forward to sleeping again!

Better on my neck
For years, I had to sleep on my back because side-sleeping caused pain in both shoulders. That became a real challenge a few years ago when I developed mild sleep apnea on my back. I was stuck in a frustrating cycle: waking up from apnea, rolling onto my side, and waking up shortly after with shoulder pain. This pillow has completely broken that cycle. It gives me wonderful support when I turn onto my side, with no shoulder ache. The alignment also keeps me comfortable on my back, and my smartwatch—which I've tracked my sleep with for over two years—shows my overnight oxygen levels have noticeably improved. Plus, the pillowcase is silky smooth and feels lovely to sleep on. I have zero regrets about buying it and highly recommend it.
I was very surprised at how comfortable this pillow was. I was very very surprised. My husband didn’t like it very much but I did. Usually when you get a new pillow, It takes a little while to get used to it. I did not wake up with a sore neck the first time I used it I think the pillow is great
I find the pillow helps me sleep on my back and support my shoulders at the same time. Sometimes I put an ordinary feather pillow on top of the butterfly pillow to be more comfortable and still use the contours of the butterfly beneath.
Following a major vertigo episode in 2022 when for many months I held my neck muscles tight to keep my head still & since then when the neck muscles tighten in my neck they squeeze a vein causing dizziness & nausea. I needed a pillow that supported my neck so the muscles could relax instead of fighting the many pillows I tried that pushed back all night hence my muscles couldn't relax & I awoke feeling in pain & awful. SO I thought I had nothing to lose by purchasing this pillow. From the 1st night my neck felt supported & the muscles could relax, my head felt cradled & when I woke in the morning - amazing no more neck pain. It has taken awhile to adjust to this type of sleeping however the payoff is when I wake up & the neck muscles feel normal.
